This role presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Engineer, Supervisor, or Manager with expertise in either commercial or industrial sectors. You will be part of a stable mobile team, taking charge of project execution, methodology, and overseeing all personnel, including subcontractors, during on-site pump installations. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a culture of safety while ensuring the delivery of high-quality service.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee project solutions from inception to completion, working closely with the Solutions Team.
  • Liaise with the Installation Manager to provide regular updates on project progress, proactively identifying and resolving potential challenges.
  • Implement and supervise the on-site Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS) process, ensuring all risks are identified and control measures are established.
  • Direct daily operations of Installation Operatives and other team members, including subcontractors, ensuring timely project completion.
  • Mentor and develop direct reports, ensuring effective management and motivation of Installation Operatives.
  • Lead and cultivate staff, showcasing confidence and expertise in guiding both direct and indirect reports.
  • Assist with vehicle loading and unloading, ensuring accuracy against documentation and addressing any discrepancies or damages.
  • Maintain and exceed on-site safety standards, aligning with both internal and customer expectations.
  • Ensure customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met to the highest satisfaction.
  • Report any safety concerns to the Installation Manager without delay.
  • Communicate any changes in methodology to the Sales and/or Solutions Manager as necessary.
  • Advise clients and internal teams, promoting teamwork for efficient and effective solutions.
  • Build and nurture client relationships, fostering trust in our products, services, and brand.
  • Identify and propose innovative solutions and enhancements for unique and efficient business operations.
  • Continuously improve Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) standards, ensuring compliance with all internal and external procedures and legal requirements.
  • Adhere to company QHSE procedures at all times.
  • Promote the company's mission and core values, ensuring consistency in business strategy across the organization.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity within the water industry, construction, or oil and gas sectors.
  • SSSTS certification or equivalent qualification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of site health and safety compliance.
  • Experience working on client sites, particularly in construction or water-related environments.
  • Hands-on approach, dedicated to timely and high-quality job completion.
  • Proficient in building relationships with Installation Operatives and staff in challenging situations.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and delays, maintaining a calm and positive demeanor.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, participate in on-call rotations, and travel as required.
  • Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Site Supervision or equivalent experience.
  • Any formal health and safety training, such as IOSH Managing Safety certification, is desirable.
  • Valid UK driving license (maximum 6 points).
