Job Overview

Facilities Support Specialist (Enhanced Cleaning) - Join our dedicated team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board.

We are seeking enthusiastic and driven individuals to become part of our Facilities Team within Domestic Services. Your commitment to improving the patient and customer experience is essential, and a strong dedication to delivering exceptional customer service is a must.

While prior experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided.

The successful candidate will perform a variety of specific tasks across the Facilities service.

Available working hours include:

  • 1 x hours per week
  • 1 x 32 hours per week
  • 1 x 24 hours per week
  • 2 x 23 hours per week
  • 1 x 12 hours per week
  • 1 x hours per week

Key Responsibilities

The specific duties for each role will be outlined in the relevant job schedules. The allocation of these responsibilities will align with the priority needs and demands of the service as determined by the manager or supervisor. Therefore, a flexible approach to your responsibilities is essential, and the ability to cover various shifts is required.

Proficiency in Welsh is preferred for this position; however, applications from both Welsh and English speakers are encouraged.

Education & Training Requirements

Essential Qualifications

  • Basic general education
  • Proficient in literacy and numeracy
  • Willingness to complete the ABUHB facilities competency workbook within six months
  • Willingness to undertake and complete statutory and mandatory training, including Basic Food Hygiene certification
  • Openness to future training as required for the role

Desirable Qualifications

  • BIFM/NVQ level 2
