Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team at William Henry Associates. As a Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and minor repair of various attachments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of 6 individuals to ensure efficient and effective maintenance and repair of equipment.
  • Oversee daily preparations of attachments to ensure they are tested and fit for purpose.
  • Ensure routine maintenance on machinery and equipment inspections are completed to prevent downtime and ensure safety.
  • Provide a list of fleet numbers of collections to Hiredesk for the previous day.
  • Enforce safety protocols when operating machinery and maintain and enforce health and safety procedures.
  • Hold weekly tool box talks to ensure team members are aware of safety procedures and best practices.
  • Meet and exceed targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Workshop Manager in the plant and equipment industry.
  • Background in mechanical engineering and experience working with a variety of attachments and machinery.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work every other Saturday in rotation (paid overtime).
