Senior Project Manager

Tarmac is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team at our Tunstead Quarry site in Derbyshire. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating new and developing projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, efficiently, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the investment budget on projects
- Ensure the safety of site staff and contractors under the CDM Regulations
- Responsible for financial control of investments from conception to handover
- Ensure projects deliver all objectives as set out in the initial justification
- Manage project teams to achieve expected outcomes
- Provide engineering advice and support to the site for problem-solving and process improvements
- Responsible for all projects in your package of works to ensure zero harm and financial budget, program, and business objectives
- Manage projects to achieve lowest cost of ownership
- Apply Project Management and Engineering skills to identify opportunities for cost savings and develop innovative solutions
- Lead, develop, and inspire colleagues to cultivate high-performing teams
- Hold a relevant degree or be QBE
- IOSH or NEBOSH certification
- CAD experience beneficial but not essential
- Link new designs with Business As Usual (BAU) and ensure safety and environmental concerns are eliminated
- Excellent drawing and document management focus
- Sharing and explaining drawings to key stakeholders
- Ensure clean and timely transition from Project to BAU
- FULL UK manual car driving license with no more than 6 points
