Platform Recruitment is partnering with a leading company in the electro-mechanical industry to find an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in electric motor design. The ideal candidate will have a passion for product development, from concept generation to testing and manufacturing.
Main Responsibilities- Develop conceptual designs for electric motors
- Act as the subject matter expert in electric motor design, providing technical guidance and support
- Create 3D CAD designs for motor components and systems
- Design and test prototypes to validate motor performance
- Conduct design validation and verification to ensure motor meets specifications
- Design precision mechanisms for motor components
- Lead the design process from concept to product launch
- Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in electric motor design, with a strong understanding of motor principles and design methodologies
- Advanced 3D CAD skills, with experience in designing complex motor components and systems
- Creativity and innovative thinking to develop new motor designs and solutions
- Experience in designing precision mechanisms and motor components
- Knowledge of various manufacturing processes and techniques
- Experience in designing electro-mechanical products is highly desirable
