Title: Quality Assurance Inspector
Duration: 6 Months Extension
Pay Rate: $46.00/HR on W2

Description:
Shift C: 5 am - 5:30 pm, Fri - Sun

Prescreening Questions:
  • How do you identify conformance requirements?
  • What are the protocols for managing nonconforming components?
  • What actions do you take if you observe non-compliance with work instructions?
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of structural, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and systems utilizing CAD models and blueprints.
  • Ensure assemblies meet engineering specifications.
  • Document nonconformities in accordance with internal procedures and communicate effectively to resolve quality concerns.
  • Utilize precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
  • Perform final photographic documentation of hardware.
  • Manage hardware containment related to nonconformances and supplier notices.
  • Execute closeout first article in-process and final inspections.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of inspection experience in aerospace, military, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Proficient in nonconformance management systems.
  • Strong skills in blueprint reading and 3D modeling.
  • Experience in conducting electronic and mechanical testing and inspections using portable measuring devices.
  • Expertise in inspecting high-value flight vehicles and systems with tight tolerances.
  • Familiarity with personal computer usage.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to build trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to an inclusive culture.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or legally admitted refugee/asylee.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification or ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
  • Experience in aerospace propulsion assembly, installation, and testing processes.
  • Practical knowledge of quality management systems (AS9100 and ISO 9001).
  • Strong understanding of safety programs and OSHA regulations.
