Position Summary
We are currently seeking a qualified Plumbing Technician for a Band 4 role. The successful candidate will undertake plumbing and maintenance responsibilities within the designated Trust area. This is a full-time position, operating Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8:15 AM to 3:30 PM or Monday to Thursday from 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM.
Location
The role will be based in the Estates Services.
Compensation
The starting salary is £14.41 per hour for the initial 12 weeks, increasing to £14.99 thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
The post holder will be responsible for:
- Performing plumbing installations and maintenance tasks.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess:
- A working knowledge and experience in the installation and maintenance of industrial and/or commercial hot and cold water systems.
- A completed CITB Plumbing apprenticeship or equivalent approved training.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent City & Guilds Qualification in Plumbing with a minimum of two years post-apprenticeship experience, or NVQ Level 2 City & Guilds or equivalent Qualification in Plumbing (or higher) with a minimum of five years post-apprenticeship experience.
- A current full driving license with access to a vehicle.
