Role Summary

In this engaging hybrid role, the Public Relations and Marketing Trainee will be integral to our team, assisting in essential functions across PR, Trade, E-commerce, and Brand initiatives. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop key industry skills while managing dedicated daily tasks.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, motivated, and detail-oriented, capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment. This role is perfect for someone eager to cultivate their expertise in the luxury beauty sector.

Key Responsibilities

Public Relations Support:

  1. Conduct daily monitoring of press and social media, tracking results and metrics, and archiving coverage.
  2. Assist in distributing media assets to enhance coverage.
  3. Facilitate product and image requests from press and influencers.
  4. Compile recaps for press and campaign launches.
  5. Manage campaign mailers and respond to daily ad-hoc requests.
  6. Coordinate and oversee deliveries via courier services.
  7. Maintain PR assets, ensuring all materials are organized and accessible.
  8. Request samples and manage the PR inventory effectively.
  9. Engage with creators on affiliate platforms to boost outreach.
  10. Support outreach efforts to key retailers.
  11. Provide essential assistance during PR events and activations.
  12. Maintain and update the database of press and influencer contacts.
  13. Assist with research projects related to competitor activities and emerging media opportunities.
  14. Help track budgets effectively.

Trade Marketing Assistance:

  1. Support E-Retail activities, including site maintenance and promotional reporting.
  2. Assist with the GWP calendar and retailer sampling initiatives.
  3. Coordinate visual merchandising send-outs and counter maintenance.
  4. Track calendars and campaigns for effective execution.
  5. Conduct competitor reporting.
  6. Raise purchase orders and track budgets.

Qualifications

  1. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  2. Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
  3. Capability to manage multiple projects across various departments.
  4. A collaborative team player with a positive and professional demeanor.
  5. A genuine desire to contribute to a high-performance team while gaining valuable experience.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel is advantageous.
  7. Prior experience in a similar PR role is preferred.
  8. Familiarity with media monitoring platforms is a plus.
  9. General knowledge of the industry and media landscape, including UK and European press, influencers, and current trends.
  10. Experience in retail is beneficial.
