About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled National Planning Manager to join our team at Unipart Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the delivery of our customers' products across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate daily workload for a fleet of drivers nationally
  • Implement new operating processes to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Develop and maintain backhaul lanes and supplier collections across the fleet
  • Source and manage sub-contractors to ensure additional volume is serviced in line with contractual arrangements
  • Complete late load reports and ensure loads meet safety standards
  • Own and manage metrics and performance indicators related to initiatives to measure overall performance and value creation
  • Communicate effectively with partners and stakeholders, including project status reports
  • Administer the flow of information to ensure invoices and claims can be quickly and effectively reconciled
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Transport Planning Manager with a strong background in road transport regulatory and legislative frameworks. You will have a thorough understanding of Transport Legislation and the Working Time Directive, as well as experience working in a busy transport/distribution environment. Excellent communication skills and experience with SAP are desirable.
