About the Role

Twinstream Limited is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring tools and scripts to ensure real-time visibility into system performance and availability.
  • Respond to incidents and outages, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to schedule capability changes and capture new service requirements.
  • Apply automation techniques to reduce manual operations burden and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Eligibility for DV clearance.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible).
  • Experience working with docker containers and container orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker Swarm).
  • Experience using and maintaining CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitHub actions).
  • Good understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Linux command line, administration, and shell scripting.
  • Solid understanding of monitoring, auto-scaling, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery best practices.
  • Working knowledge of network security protocols.
  • Working knowledge of AWS.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (InfluxDB, Prometheus, or Grafana).
