Digital Marketing Specialist

Auburn University is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to lead the development, maintenance, and analysis of data sent through marketing channels and third-party applications/add-ons for the college to support its strategic communication and marketing goals.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and email marketing best practices, as well as excellent project management skills, writing and editing for various media, and experience with Google AdWords, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram marketing.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing overall platform support of Marketing Cloud for the college and building, maintaining, and improving Marketing Cloud user journeys following design and process protocols.
- Coordinating and creative support to strategic projects on behalf of the college's units, including overseeing current and future digital marketing and communication efforts from initiation to development, implementation, assessment, and modification where needed.
- Managing and operating the college's social media accounts and paid marketing campaigns to align with the college's strategic communications and marketing objectives.
- Enhancing the college's visibility and reputation through search engine optimization and marketing; enhancing undergraduate, graduate, and online enrollment to align with the college's strategic objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Marketing, Data Management, or related field.
- Five years experience in marketing and communications services.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and email marketing best practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills, project management skills, writing and editing for various media, and experience with Google AdWords, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and Instagram marketing.
