Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our team. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, working closely with our experienced chefs and kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, storage, and delivery, ensuring that all food is handled and stored safely and hygienically.
- Help to maintain a clean and tidy kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Support the kitchen team in the preparation and serving of food, ensuring that all dishes are presented to a high standard.
- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to achieve our goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a food environment or a related field.
- Food Safety at Level 2 and good awareness of health and safety plus COSHH.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work flexibly and reliably, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
