We're seeking a pragmatic and experienced Commercial / Contracts Lawyer to join our team. As a key member of the Legal Team, you'll report to UK General Counsel and support our UK Group companies, as well as partner with key stakeholders in the business to provide timely and relevant legal support and advice.

Your responsibilities will include undertaking instructions from Senior Legal Counsel-Commercial, as well as from the Business, on a wide range of commercial matters, including supplier contracts, NDAs, IT agreements, software licenses, data sharing agreements, and service level agreements. You'll be responsible for contract negotiations and providing legal sign-off where appropriate.

You'll work closely with Business stakeholders to advise and assist them in their contractual relationships with customers and suppliers, to provide guidance on legal and regulatory risks and obligations, and to ensure Unum adopts a 'smart-risk' approach in all aspects of its business.
