About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Concurrent Technologies Plc. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software for our high-performance Intel processor boards, switches, networking, and storage products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop BIOS, BSPs, and additional software for our new and existing products
  • Develop middleware, system, and device driver software for Linux, Windows, VxWorks, and other standard operating systems
  • Test software and ensure it meets the required standards
  • Support the definition of product and software architecture
  • Collaborate with project managers to coordinate deliverables
Requirements
  • Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • Proficient in Embedded C programming for x86, PowerPC, or high-performance ARM processors
  • Practical experience programming a variety of hardware devices at register level
  • Mentoring of engineers in software development and debug
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git
