Key Responsibilities- Financial Leadership: Provide high-quality financial insight and guidance to stakeholders, based on business and functional understanding, context, and underlying business strategy to support decision-making processes.
- Business Partnering: Act as a trusted partner to C-suite executives and have the gravitas to host executive meetings/presentations on your business unit.
- Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and coach a team of qualified accountants within a fast-paced environment, creating a great environment to work in, and setting a clear strategic vision for your team.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Achieve a high level of budget and forecast accuracy.
- Commercial Insight: Provide high-quality financial insight and guidance to stakeholders based on commercial understanding of the business, market context, and underlying business strategy to support decision-making processes.
- Finance Business Partnering: Create a best-in-class finance business partnering ethos.
- Deal Support: Provide hands-on support to the FLT in working with sub-regional stakeholders and other relevant stakeholders with preparation, submission, and commentary on business cases and deals by developing robust financial models.
- Performance Reporting: Manage weekly and monthly performance reporting as well as monitor performance against targets.
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Produce ad-hoc analysis as required and produce specific reporting against strategic initiatives where required.
- Data Analysis: Analyze, synthesize, and translate data into key strategic inputs and insights that will drive decision-making at the executive level.
- Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis to understand costs, benefits, and return on investment for all projects and investment cases.
- Commercial Support: Assist with product commercialization, pricing, and other decision-support areas.
- Finance Leadership Experience: Proven finance leader within a fast-paced PLC or matrix structure business.
- Professional Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CA qualified accountant with substantial PQE experience.
- Leadership Skills: Led and managed a team, passionate about succession planning and being 'a leader of leaders'.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong internal and external stakeholder management capability, confident to partner and influence up to board level.
- Fast-Paced Role: A broad and fast-paced role within a successful leading business.
- Flexible Work Policy: Flexible work policy with autonomous leadership style.
