About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Coordinator to join our team at the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demand, focusing on short to medium-term goals.
  • Supply Chain Strategy: Ensure the supply chain strategy is embedded throughout the team and department, managing budgets and assisting in capital expenditure projects.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Maintain product Food Safety, Legality, Integrity, Authenticity, and Quality standards by ensuring all associated policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Production and Logistics: Ensure authorized SOPs are available and used, and lead continuous improvement teams and projects to track effectiveness and gather data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Quality Management: Ensure the team understands and works to quality standards, producing performance reports as required.
Requirements
  • Knowledge: Effective Communication, Problem Solving and Decision Making, Planning & Organising.
  • Skills: IT literate, including SAP skills, Food Safety Level 3.
