Job Opportunity

Step Teachers is seeking a qualified Geography Teacher to join our team at a Secondary school in Enfield. As a Geography Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic secondary-level pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lesson Delivery: Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of students, promoting a deep understanding of geographical concepts and skills.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and safe learning environment, ensuring the effective use and storage of equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with other staff members to achieve academic and personal goals for students.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
  • Compliance: Adhere to the school's policies and procedures, ensuring a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Experience: Have recent experience as a Secondary level Geography Teacher, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Possess excellent classroom and behavior management skills, with a good level of knowledge in geography education.
