Key Responsibilities

As an AIT Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be tasked with:

  • Ensuring adherence to AIT operational protocols.
  • Verifying the compliance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic components with defined specifications.
  • Conducting thorough inspections utilizing documentation, visual assessments, and measurements throughout all integration phases.
  • Guaranteeing the effective execution of established processes.
  • Confirming the accuracy and availability of integration documentation.
  • Compiling comprehensive build records and AIT configurations for products.
  • Maintaining traceability of all operations performed.
  • Ensuring compliance with pre-defined manufacturing methods and processes.
  • Certifying the configuration of flight equipment.
  • Performing goods-in inspections and generating corresponding reports.
  • Conducting controls and measurements, while completing necessary records such as log-sheets and test reports.
  • Overseeing that all engineering procedures are executed accurately and in line with the correct documentation versions.
  • Validating that all required certifications for activities are current and appropriate.
  • Executing Key Inspection Points (KIPs) and Mandatory Inspection Points (MIPs).
  • Collaborating with the Quality Assurance Manager regarding any observed deviations.
  • Documenting any non-conformances or anomalies identified during AIT operations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Technician qualification - HND or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or an Associate's Degree in a related field.

Essential Skills

We are looking for someone with:

  • Experience in quality assurance, production control, and manufacturing processes for mechanical, electrical, or electronic products.
  • A methodical and detail-oriented approach.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team spirit.

Desired Skills

Familiarity with customer software (e.g., PALMA) and experience in clean room environments or the space industry, along with knowledge of ECSS standards, would be advantageous.

Experience

A minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in an industrial or production setting related to electronic, mechanical, or quality products is required.
