Job Overview

Vigilant Security is seeking a professional and observant Security Officer to join our team in Aberdeen. As a Security Officer, you will provide a high level of security presence, responding to incidents and ensuring the safety of our clients and staff.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a professional and responsive security presence
  • Conducting site inspections and patrols
  • Assisting with reception duties and customer-facing tasks
  • Managing conflicts and providing customer care
  • Operating security systems and equipment
  • Providing first aid and emergency response

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid SIA licence for Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision
  • A fully comprehensive 5-year work/education history
  • Excellent communication and administration skills
  • Reliable and excellent time-management skills
  • Smart and well-groomed appearance
  • Conflict management awareness and high level of customer care
  • Security systems knowledge and telephone/switchboard skills
  • First aid training and IT literacy (advantageous)

What We Offer

Vigilant Security offers a competitive annual leave package, company uniform, and a pay rate of £12.00 per hour. We require applicants to be flexible and available to work a 4-on-4-off shift pattern, days only, from 07:00 to 19:00 hours.
