Hospitality2day is seeking Temporary School Chefs to work with various educational institutions across Southeast London.

Our assignments encompass Nurseries, Primary and Secondary Schools, as well as Higher Education facilities, and we take pride in providing exceptional service to both our candidates and clients.

As a School Chef, your schedule may consist of a 5-day work week from 7 am to 3 pm (subject to variation) with opportunities for permanent placement.

Key Responsibilities of a School Chef:

  • Adhering to established guidelines
  • Preparing and assisting in the creation of meals (breakfast, snacks, and lunch)
  • Overseeing and managing inventory
  • Supporting the catering team
  • Upholding kitchen and food safety protocols
  • Complying with Food Safety regulations

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of prior experience in catering as a Chef, preferably in a school or contract catering setting
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Confidence in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Training in food health and safety
