SkyeBiz is seeking a meticulous and organized External Sales Representative to enhance our team. Comprehensive product training will be provided to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full-time position based in the Maidenhead office.
  • Familiarity with temperature and pressure sensors is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly with MS Office and CRM systems.

Detailed Job Description:

As a prominent UK manufacturer and supplier of industrial temperature sensors, SkyeBiz is looking for a candidate with a background in electronics, mechanics, or IT sales.

Your Role:
You will oversee all incoming inquiries and, when necessary, engage in outbound activities. Your responsibilities include sending quotes within established service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring timely follow-ups to achieve and surpass sales growth targets.

Objectives:

  • Achieve and exceed established sales goals.
  • Enhance conversion rates from quotes to successful sales.
  • Ensure accurate and timely follow-up on all inquiries.
  • Maintain oversight of the sales pipeline to align with targets.
  • Analyze reasons for lost opportunities to refine sales processes.
  • Foster existing client relationships through effective communication.
  • Identify new business opportunities with current and prospective clients.

Core Duties:

  • Promptly acknowledge and respond to all inbound inquiries.
  • Provide accurate and swift quotes to clients.
  • Assist clients in selecting appropriate product solutions and escalate complex cases internally.
  • Maintain precise records of all contacts and inquiries in the CRM system.
  • Ensure the CRM is consistently updated with the latest opportunities and inquiries.
  • Deliver timely quotes for manufacturing and distribution jobs.
  • Report monthly sales and pipeline KPIs to senior management.
  • Provide weekly KPI updates to the Managing Director.
  • Engage in weekly meetings to discuss KPIs and set goals for the upcoming week.
  • Occasionally attend trade shows to promote SkyeBiz.
  • Coordinate with finance and operations to manage project schedules.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in sales administration.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
