Corporate Communications Specialist

At Boston Scientific, we're committed to advancing science for life. As a Corporate Communications Specialist, you'll play a key role in developing innovative ESG communications content and campaigns to strengthen our reputation as a leading healthcare company in the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute ESG corporate communications plans to support regional business objectives, leveraging media, social, leadership, and employee communications channels.
- Ensure consistency of brand and message across channels and spokespeople on ESG topics, leveraging a deep knowledge of the corporate story.
- Source, create, edit, and publish compelling stories about Boston Scientific's ESG journey, connecting it to our purpose, values, and people through internal and external channels.
- Proactively manage the schedule of EMEA communications activities, organizing work and input from agencies, volunteers, and project support.
- Evaluate the impact of ESG communications activities using a data-driven approach, and proactively use insights to improve future campaigns and strengthen internal partnerships.
- Manage the ESG Comms EMEA budget and comms vendors to ensure consistency, quality, value, and innovation in their approach.
- Coach internal partners and junior team members, such as interns, as needed.
- Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills.
- Degree in communications or a related discipline.
- Fluency in English is essential, and proficiency in one other EMEA language is highly desirable.
- Practical experience in developing ESG communications, particularly on environmental sustainability topics.
- Broad experience in managing complex communications environments, ideally with some pan-European or international experience.
- 20-30% travel is anticipated, mainly within the European region to major congresses and Boston Scientific offices.
- Work mode is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days of office presence per week.
