About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Radiographer to join our team at Ashtead Hospital. As a Senior Radiographer, you will be responsible for leading the radiography team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the radiography team and provide guidance and support to junior staff members
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the effective operation of the radiography department
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and techniques
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in diagnostic radiography
- HCPC registration
- General radiographer experience, with a strong background in CT and MRI imaging
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
