Saw Operator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Saw Operator to join our team at Travail Employment Group Careers. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Band Saw, Chop Saw, or similar machine to cut materials to size and correct thickness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow drawings and work orders to ensure accurate cutting
  • Conduct quality checks on materials and finished goods
  • Inspect first off using tape, micrometers, and calliper instruments
  • Stamp and label finished goods
  • Operate a forklift to move stock and perform warehouse duties

Requirements:

  • Previous machine operating experience
  • Ability to work from drawings and follow work instructions
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
