Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Advisor / Technical Sales Administrator to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical sales support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the sales coordinator to process sales and works through to production
- Raise and process orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Liaise with the production department to ensure smooth delivery of products
- Respond to production queries and provide technical support as needed
- Deal with incoming customer inquiries via phone or email
- Provide sales support to existing and internal customers
- Manage multiple projects and prioritize work to meet production deadlines
- Assist colleagues with technical support and provide exceptional customer service
- Prepare after-sales support, delivery tickets, and other administrative tasks
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the steel processing / steel fabrication industry
- Background in technical sales, sales administration, or order processing
- Flexible and proactive attitude with high motivation
- Strong numeracy and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
