Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Advisor / Technical Sales Administrator to join our team at AWD online. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical sales support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the sales coordinator to process sales and works through to production
  • Raise and process orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Liaise with the production department to ensure smooth delivery of products
  • Respond to production queries and provide technical support as needed
  • Deal with incoming customer inquiries via phone or email
  • Provide sales support to existing and internal customers
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize work to meet production deadlines
  • Assist colleagues with technical support and provide exceptional customer service
  • Prepare after-sales support, delivery tickets, and other administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the steel processing / steel fabrication industry
  • Background in technical sales, sales administration, or order processing
  • Flexible and proactive attitude with high motivation
  • Strong numeracy and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
