Our Carmarthen Depot
The Carmarthen depot serves convenience retailers and forecourts in the region. This fast-paced operation runs 364 days a year and utilizes a fleet of 14 vehicles on 12 routes.
Your Role as Logistics Team Leader
We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Team Leader to join our Carmarthen Depot. You will play a vital role in overseeing the smooth operation of our delivery network, encompassing both HGVs and Vans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations for HGV and Van routes, ensuring efficient deliveries.
- Oversee driver workload allocation and resource management.
- Monitor KPI performance and implement strategies to optimize efficiency.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety practices within the team.
- Collaborate with customer service and third-party stakeholders to resolve issues effectively.
- Conduct administrative tasks, including data input and reporting.
What We Look For:
- Previous experience within the transport industry is highly desirable.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Excel spreadsheets.
