Job Title: On Board Manager Preston Talent Pool

At Avanti West Coast, we are seeking an exceptional On Board Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and engaging a large dedicated team of on-board crews who deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage behaviours in line with business values, supervise performance, sickness absence, and availability levels of your team.
  • Lead and own the implementation of planned changes and support on-board teams with new commercial activities.
  • Ensure the safety of your On-Board teams and compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage budgets in line with Finance Business Partner.
  • Deliver great customer service in all circumstances.
  • This post holds an 'On Call' commitment and requires flexibility to work hours that suit the railway environment.

You will be a great leader with a proven track record of bringing your team along with you. You will be customer-focused and have the safety of others at the forefront of your mind. You will be able to manage your workload and juggle multiple priorities. Flexibility and a positive approach to managing and developing a team are key requirements of this role.
