About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Female IDVA to join our team in North Somerset. As a key member of our domestic abuse services, you will provide outreach and community-based support to high-risk victims, working closely with the Lighthouse, One Front Door, and MARAC to deliver a coordinated package of emotional and practical support, advice, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments, including DASH, and co-produce safety plans with service users, regularly reviewing and amending plans as necessary.
  • Carry out needs assessments to establish support needs and provide flexible support to individuals and families.
  • Promote the service through building relationships with referrers, service users, and partner agencies.
  • Make referrals to Addaction and AWP Mental Health services as appropriate.
Requirements
  • IDVA qualification
  • Proven experience working with high-risk victims of domestic abuse
  • Experience of supporting women and children who have survived domestic abuse
  • Full driving license and access to transport
