Electrical Test Engineer Job Description

Expleo Group UK Jobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage HIL testing on Electrical Integrated Platforms.
  • Identify and resolve issues with HIL models and testing.
  • Develop test plans and testing procedures.
  • Apply knowledge of electrical architecture and theory.
  • Assess electrical design risks and generate test plans.
  • Understand network communications and bus principles.
  • Follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections.
  • Apply HIL for Electrical testing.

This role requires travel abroad, typically for a few days to two weeks, but may be longer on rare occasions.

Requirements:
  • Experience in HIL testing and electrical test engineering.
  • Knowledge of electrical architecture and theory.
  • Ability to assess electrical design risks and generate test plans.
  • Understanding of network communications and bus principles.
  • Ability to follow system circuit diagrams and identify electrical connections.
  • Experience in applying HIL for Electrical testing.
