Job Summary

Speedy Services, a leading provider of hire equipment and services, is seeking an Apprentice Lifting Engineer to join its team. As an Apprentice Lifting Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the depot's operations, ensuring that equipment is always available for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a structured three-year training program, including on-the-job training and block placements with a college provider.
  • Complete a Level 3 Lifting Technician apprenticeship standard and associated End Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Attend internal lifting modules, including practical and theory training.

Requirements:

  • Ambitious and driven individuals who are willing to learn and develop.
  • Comfortable attending block learning placements at other sites and learning in a classroom/practical environment.
  • Ability to work at height and adapt to a fast-paced working environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to support the business unit/team to deliver the ESG Strategy.
  • Minimum of GCSE Grade 4/Grade C or above in English and Mathematics or Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English.
