Job Summary:

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Fitter to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of heavy plant vehicles and machinery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Routine maintenance and repair of heavy plant equipment, including diagnostics and fault finding.
  • Performing rebuilds and ensuring hire equipment is fit for purpose.
  • Conducting safety inspections to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Requirements:

  • A professionally recognized qualification in Heavy Vehicle or Plant Maintenance and Repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent) is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a plant maintenance or heavy equipment environment.
  • A full UK driving license is required.
