Lead Dental Nurse

Location: Derbyshire DE1 2GJ

4 days per week Monday to Thursday - 5pm

As a Lead Dental Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting your dentist. With your understanding of Private, NHS and UDA treatments, together with your knowledge of GDC and other regulatory responsibilities, you will set the highest standards for your team and patients.

", "Key Skills": "
  • Leading a team of Dental Nurses, supporting recruitment and additional compliance duties
  • Managing the training of Trainee/Apprentice Dental Nurses within your practice, buddying them through their initial induction and acting as an extra support as they learn
  • Assisting the Practice Manager to ensure the smooth running of your Dental Nursing Team.
  • Possessing excellent organisational and influencing skills, using these to ensure that the practice delivers effective care
  • Understanding Private and NHS dentistry – supporting offering treatment options to patients and how you can best drive surgery efficiency and help the practice performance goals
  • Demonstrating your full understanding of GDC and other regulatory responsibilities
  • Embracing the importance of your own CPD and ongoing professional development
