Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the quality system within the laboratory, working closely with lab and accreditation teams to maintain exceptional analytical services.
  • Collaborate with sampling and water quality teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to the business.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve compliance and quality, leveraging your expertise in ISO17025 or equivalent accreditation.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both internally and externally, to ensure clear understanding of compliance requirements and expectations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a scientific environment with ISO17025 or equivalent accreditation.
  • At least HNC qualified (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage issues and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
