At GLL, we're seeking a highly motivated and committed Football Coach to join our team at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre in Croydon. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, delivering high-quality football sessions to pupils of all ages and abilities.

As a Football Coach, you'll be responsible for creating a fun, friendly, and encouraging environment that fosters the development of fundamental football skills. You'll work closely with pupils to help them progress and improve their football performances, while also ensuring their safety and well-being.

With your FA Level 2 or above qualification, you'll be able to deliver high-quality sessions at various levels, abilities, and age groups. Your role will involve:

  • Delivering a well-structured football programme that focuses on progression and development.
  • Providing high-quality coaching that meets the needs of pupils.
  • Improving the level of coaching and increasing the numbers on the programme.
  • Maintaining a good and positive image of the Centre to customers and the public.
  • Setting up equipment and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Delivering first-class customer service and dealing with customer queries.

  • Knowledge of health and safety and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
  • Experience of coaching in a community setting and a coaching qualification (Level 2 or above).
  • A First Aid qualification and the ability to work as part of a team.
