Veterinary Surgeon Leader

BVC PET LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Veterinary Surgeon to lead our team of veterinary professionals. As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical and surgical care to our animal patients.

• Conduct thorough examinations on animals to diagnose health conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, ensuring the overall well-being of the animals under our care.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses, collaborating with other veterinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans, maintaining accurate medical records for all patients.
• Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and surgical techniques, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Registered with the RCVS.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Veterinary Surgeon or similar role.
• Valid state veterinary license.
• Proven experience in laboratory procedures and veterinary practices.
• Excellent surgical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

• VDS fees paid.
• RCVS fees paid.
• 5 days paid CPD leave.
