Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Paediatrician with a strong interest in Allergy to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and adolescents with allergy-related conditions.

Main Responsibilities

The appointed Consultant will be expected to:

  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care pathways for children with allergy-related conditions.
  • Provide expert clinical advice and guidance to junior staff and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of clinical guidelines and protocols related to allergy care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the improvement of patient outcomes.
  • Engage in teaching and training activities to support the development of junior staff.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • MRCPCH or equivalent qualification.
  • APLS/EPLS provider status.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
