Osmii is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our database team, you will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of our databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data processing and retrieval.
• Develop and implement backup and recovery processes to ensure business continuity.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure seamless database integration.
• Automate database tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Perform database tuning and optimization to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide solutions to ensure minimal downtime.
• Maintain database documentation and standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Implement database upgrades and patches to ensure security and stability.
• Monitor database health and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations to protect sensitive information.
• Develop and maintain database scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks.
• Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends to ensure Osmii remains competitive.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA with a strong understanding of database management systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with database automation tools such as liquibase, flyway, and cron job.
• Ability to develop and maintain database scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks.
