About the Role

Cityscape is seeking a highly skilled Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for managing costs and ensuring delivery of payment on projects valued between £1M-£2M.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage day-to-day tasks to provide commercial support to project delivery and estimating teams.
  2. Assist in the prompt presentation of applications for payment and final accounts, including contractual entitlements.
  3. Ensure all payments are received in accordance with contract terms.
  4. Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVR) and final cost/value forecasts.
  5. Procure, negotiate, and place sub-contract orders.
  6. Assist in the financial and commercial management of sub-contracts through settlement of Final Accounts.
About the Benefits

Cityscape offers a competitive salary of £55,000-£60,000 per annum, plus a generous package including a car allowance of £7,500, 22 days annual leave, private healthcare, and enrolment on their pension scheme and profit commission scheme.

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you must hold a minimum of 5 years experience in Quantity Surveying and proven experience of working on civil engineering infrastructure projects in the UK. Ideally, you will be degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management and have working knowledge of NEC forms of contracts. A full UK driving license and residency within a 1-hour commute from Cityscape's office in Kent are also required.
