We are looking for an Engineering Project Coordinator to become a vital member of Reed Engineering's innovative team within the technology sector.

This position is perfect for a professional with extensive knowledge across various engineering fields and a specialized area of focus.

The Engineering Project Coordinator will be instrumental in providing technical services both on-site and within the manufacturing facility, concentrating on the design, production, and support of both contemporary and legacy products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including supply chain partners and clients.
  • Deliver technical services at client locations and within the manufacturing environment.
  • Oversee in-service support for legacy products, including obsolescence management and Integrated Logistic Support (ILS).
  • Process engineering modifications for products and provide repair services for client equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, technical standards, and quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain accountability for compliance with safety regulations and standards.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong foundational knowledge across all engineering disciplines with specific expertise in a particular area.
  • Ability to work effectively in small teams with diverse skill sets.
  • Basic understanding of private sector operations, including order fulfillment and revenue generation.
  • Energetic, inquisitive, methodical, and determined problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication of technical issues to management.


Experience & Knowledge:
  • Managing multiple engineering workflows simultaneously.
  • Engaging with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Subject matter expertise in electrical, electronic, or communications engineering is highly desirable.


Desirable Qualifications:
  • Engineering qualification at level 6 or higher.
  • Membership or professional accreditation with a recognized technical institution (e.g., IET, APM).


Additional Requirements:
  • Valid UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK or internationally as necessary.
  • Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
