Project Controls Engineer

Job Summary:

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Controls Engineer to join our expanding Project Controls Team. As a Graduate Project Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services and supporting the delivery of multiple projects for our high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering projects to the value of £5m - £100m across both Public and Private sectors
  • Control project budgets and costs
  • Manage project risk
  • Manage project schedules
  • Perform performance reporting and support information management
  • Support the preparation of tender and contract documents
  • Ensure internal governance is adhered to
  • Assist in scope management and the delivery of construction projects
  • Facilitate project progress meetings with the project team
  • Implement change control management
  • Client and Stakeholder liaison
  • Support senior staff in delivering business objectives

Requirements:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) minimum of 5 A* - C, including B Grades in Maths and English
  • Experience in using Microsoft applications (required) Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience in using Microsoft applications (preferred) Teams, Project
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Self-motivated
  • Professional and ethical business approach
  • Team player, able to deliver multiple projects to deadlines whilst forming effective relationships
  • Full, clean UK driving license and ideally access to a vehicle
  • Eligibility for Government Security Clearance
