Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex mental health conditions.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Undertake comprehensive assessments of referrals and admissions to the service, including risk assessments and formulation of management plans.
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of complex presentations.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including external partners, to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Lead clinical decision-making in the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Develop service clinical priorities in line with national and professional guidance and standards.
  • Engage with service transformation programmes, including attendance at Consultant meetings for their service and directorate.
Leadership Role:
