About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Actuary to join our UK P&C Motor actuarial team. This team provides critical analytics to support our clients' reinsurance renewals and assists brokers with the tendering process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist brokers in advising clients on their portfolio relative to the market, achievable pricing, and reinsurance strategy optimization.
  • Develop and maintain tools of real value and market-leading analytics.
  • Collaborate with teams on client tenders to demonstrate the technical advantage of our analysis capabilities.
  • Contribute to the development of data pipelines to capture, process, and display complex data to stakeholders.
  • Maintain our in-house benchmarking tool, which provides clients with insights into their market position.
  • Ensure compliance with internal peer review and best practice standards.
  • Potential to manage more junior actuarial team members.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Math, Statistics, or related field.
  • Newly qualified actuary with experience in the London Market.
  • Technical experience in pricing, reserving, or capital modeling.
  • Coding experience in Python, R, SQL, VBA, or comparable platforms.
  • Commercial mindset.
