About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Operations Manager to join our team at WiseEnergy. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our solar plants, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, and driving business growth through process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our solar plants, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all quality control and quality assurance processes are in place and being followed, to ensure that our plants are operating at optimal levels.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure that all site visit reports are accurate and submitted in a timely manner, and that all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Issue Management: Proactively identify and manage any issues that arise during site visits, to ensure that they are resolved quickly and efficiently.
  • Performance Optimization: Use data and insights to identify opportunities for performance improvement, and develop and implement plans to drive business growth.
  • Security and Safety: Ensure that all assets are secure and that all safety protocols are in place and being followed.
  • Client Relationships: Act as the primary point of contact for our clients, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to our team, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring that they are providing high-quality services and meeting our expectations.
Requirements
  • Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of solar plant operations and maintenance, including technical characteristics and management of PV portfolios.
  • Experience: Proven experience in construction and maintenance of utility-scale solar parks, preferably as a Site/Construction Manager/O&M Coordinator.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Electronics, or qualified to the same level through experience and other qualifications.
  • Language: Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
