Residential Property Conveyancer Opportunity

Simpson Judge is currently recruiting for a Residential Property Conveyancer to join their multi-disciplinary law firm. This exciting opportunity is open to Licensed Conveyancers, Legal Executives, and Qualified Solicitors who can run their own caseload from start to finish with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Opening files and new matters on the Case Management system
  2. Preparing client care letters and service plans
  3. Preparing and drafting correspondence and precedent documents for fee earners
  4. Submitting searches and preparing draft reports on results and title documents
  5. Carrying out bankruptcy searches
  6. Carrying out priority searches
  7. Preparing completion statements and invoices
  8. Drafting and submitting Land Registry applications and dealing with completions and post-completions formalities
  9. Liaising with clients and other parties to keep files 'ticking over' for fee earners
  10. Audio typing from digital dictation system
  11. Daily use of Outlook for diaries, booking client and departmental meetings
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience in a residential property department
  2. Personable and able to work well using own initiative
  3. Pro-active and driven
  4. Strong ICT skills
