Position Overview
Prospero Teaching is seeking dedicated Supply Educators to join our team, providing essential support in primary educational institutions across various locations.


As a reputable recruitment service, we facilitate supply coverage for a diverse range of Primary, Secondary, and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) establishments; catering to both small community schools and larger urban institutions.

We are in search of educators capable of covering all year groups from Early Years to Key Stage 2, who possess effective classroom management abilities and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching.

Contract/Position Details

  • Type of Work: Supply Educator - both day-to-day and longer-term assignments in multiple schools
  • Duration: Day-to-day assignments with potential for extension based on school requirements
  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Full Time/Part Time: Opportunities available for both part-time and full-time roles depending on school needs
  • Working Hours: Full day (8:00 am - 4:00 pm), half-day (morning or afternoon), or individual lesson coverage
Experience, Training, and Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS), Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a UK educational setting
  • Current Safeguarding training completed within the last year (desirable but not mandatory)
Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for this role through Prospero Teaching, candidates must:
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Provide two professional references related to child care
