We are looking for a Versatile Maintenance Engineer to become a part of our client's Manufacturing Maintenance team. The successful candidate will possess a robust understanding of both electrical and mechanical engineering principles. This role is situated in a modernized facility with a well-established team of engineers.

A significant aspect of this position involves developing and executing long-term dependable solutions through comprehensive root cause analysis.

This role is essential in facilitating upgrade and enhancement projects aimed at optimizing equipment utilization and efficiency, thereby contributing to the company's overall growth.


Key Responsibilities of the Versatile Maintenance Engineer:

1. Contribute to building a high-performing team with the objective of achieving zero breakdowns and resolving machine setup challenges.
2. Independently perform scheduled maintenance tasks to maximize machinery uptime and minimize production disruptions.
3. Provide proactive assistance for reactive maintenance tasks, collaborating closely with the Engineering Manager to reduce production downtime.

4. Engage in electrical installations up to 400V, process safety circuits, and electrical control circuits (PLC & VSD), ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

5. Work alongside the Engineering Manager to develop and review risk assessments, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Operational Procedures Lists (OPLs), and Preventative Maintenance Schedules.
6. Conduct thorough and effective fault diagnosis utilizing mechanical and electrical root cause analysis to identify issues and formulate solutions.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for the Versatile Maintenance Engineer:

1. Demonstrated experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within a manufacturing context.
2. Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals, encompassing both electrical and mechanical aspects.
3. Proficiency in electrical installations and control circuits.
4. Capability to perform fault diagnosis and root cause analysis.
5. A proactive mindset towards maintenance and continuous improvement.
