Clinical Superintendent Radiographer/Deputy Programme Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Superintendent Radiographer/Deputy Programme Manager to join our team at Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a Breast unit at City Hospital, Walsall Manor Hospital, and 5 dedicated mobile screening units dispersed within the community.

The breast unit is looking to expand through lateral growth to incorporate new technologies such as CESM and ABUS alongside current technologies such as tomography.

The post holder must be a car driver with a valid UK driving license.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of radiographers and other healthcare professionals
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and outcomes
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor and manage budgets and resources
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements
  • Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc (Hons)
  • Current HPC Registration
  • Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography
  • Prepared to study for and attain Post Graduate Certificate in Management
  • Management/Leadership qualification or equivalent experience
