Position Overview: As a Vice President within the Investment Banking division, specializing in UK EPRM corporates (Energy, Power, Renewables & Mining), you will play a pivotal role in fostering robust relationships with corporate and financial institution clients while engaging across a diverse range of financial products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage transactions across various banking products, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, loans, and capital raises.
  • Balance responsibilities between delivering ongoing client services, securing new business opportunities, and executing complex projects.
  • Oversee the development of financial projection models and ensure thorough risk management throughout the deal process.
  • Facilitate client negotiations, manage the Q&A process, and conduct management interviews.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in Investment Banking or transactions, with a strong preference for candidates with EPRM sector expertise and familiarity with the UK market.
  • Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.
  • Proven leadership skills along with effective people and project management abilities.
  • Ability to adapt, manage projects independently, and take on significant responsibilities within a team setting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the financial, legal, and reputational risks that large integrated investment banks face in the current landscape.
  • Advanced technology skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint, with a capacity to quickly master new software applications.
