Catering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Catering Manager to lead our culinary team in providing high-quality meals for our residents. As a Catering Manager, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management.
You will work closely with our culinary team to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards, taking into account the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
As a Catering Manager, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents, providing them with nutritious and delicious meals that enhance their overall well-being.
Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management
- Work closely with the culinary team to ensure that all meals are prepared to the highest standards
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
- Lead and manage the culinary team, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or hospitality setting
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
