HR Technology Solutions Architect

We are in the process of establishing a specialized technical team within HR Technology and are seeking a Solutions Manager to enhance our expanding group. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the Data, Integrations, and Reporting framework within HR Technology. The ideal candidate will oversee and mentor a team of two technical business analysts.
Key Responsibilities
● Directing the HR Technology technical workstream and managing team members to ensure effective and high-quality delivery.
● Gaining insights into the HR Technology landscape across the organization and providing strategic recommendations for optimizing and consolidating architecture.
● Defining, documenting, and educating on essential architectural principles and methodologies to serve as a template for future projects and engagements.
● Conducting feasibility studies and proof of concepts for new tools and services, contributing to business case development as needed.
● Investigating technical situations and performing problem analysis, identifying business requirements, and suggesting improvements in processes and data flows.
● Collaborating with third-party vendors to develop robust solutions.
● Engaging with HR and business stakeholders to deliver strategic analysis and solution design.
● Participating in the vendor selection process for new HR Technology, aligning business requirements with vendor capabilities.
● Assessing the impact of current and future states and providing option papers when necessary.
● Identifying and articulating risks associated with solutions or architecture.
● Offering first-line support and triage for integrations.
● Coordinating with external vendors to manage and implement integration development.
Qualifications
● Proven experience and comprehensive knowledge in implementing or utilizing HR Technology applications such as HCM systems (Workday, Oracle, or SAP) or Payroll systems.
● Proficiency in educating stakeholders about HR system processes and principles and their broader business implications—this individual must connect technical decision-making to overall business impact.
● Familiarity with solution design, including contemporary architectural patterns and processes, and how to apply them within an existing enterprise.
